Leave No Trace, without the lecture

Best for: Everyone

Camp on the pad, not next to it. Established sites exist so the damage stays in one place. Widening a site by three feet is how meadows disappear.

Pack out everything, including food scraps and orange peels. 'It's organic' does not mean it belongs there; it means an animal learns to associate people with food.

Wash dishes 200 feet from water, with a small amount of biodegradable soap, and scatter the strained water. Never wash directly in a lake or stream.

Fires only in the provided ring, only when there is no burn ban, and out means cold to the touch. If you cannot put your hand in the ashes, it is not out.
